Now you’re thinking, “Okay, so I need good, wholesale suppliers, with good quality products, and very good prices. Oh yes, and since I don’t want to store inventory, they also need to be able to dropship.” Gotcha. That is the hard part. In this article we will discuss wholesale and dropship directories and their best-kept secret.
First of all, what exactly is a wholesale and dropship directory? Well, instead of you having to look for individual wholesale sellers that sell the unique products you’re looking for, this work has been done for you; it is called a dropship directory. Dropship directories are wholesale directory listings. The staffs of these directories do all the work. They research companies and they present a finished directory of listings and sources in lots of different industries. There are, however, many differences from one directory to the next.
First, let me tell you what you need to avoid. Like everything else online, scams unfortunately are a dime a dozen. And in the industry of dropship directories, scams are all around us. They take your membership fee and give you crappy listings and companies. Sometimes the companies they give you are here one day and gone the next. Even if they do ship your goods, the products are of questionable quality. (And, since in e-bay, seller reputation is most important, who wants to ruin their name with negative feedback? Not me.) Also, in a lot of these so-called dropship directories, customer service is non-existent. If you’re not happy and you want your money back, well, you might as well talk to the wall behind you. They’re not interested in word of mouth referrals; they want newbie sellers who have not done their proper research.
This is Part 1 of Wholesale and Dropship Directories. To find out the single most important thing you need to look out for when looking for wholesale suppliers, and finally, the best-kept secret of dropship directories, make sure to read Part 2.
